Iroquois Falls, established in 1912, was planned as a garden town on the banks of the Abitibi River. It is relatively unique in this region for its spacious parks and green spaces, wide boulevards and recreation grounds. The community is just a 45-minute drive from Timmins, and because of its low cost of living, is home to many people who commute to work in surrounding centres. Iroquois Falls is known for being a safe and friendly community, offering education, health, recreation and seniors’ facilities, as well as a recreation complex and golf course.
